October 7-11, 2023
Hosted by Columbia University Teachers College in New York City.
FabLearn is an international conference that brings together researchers, educators, students, and practitioners interested in the intersection of constructionism, digital fabrication, and maker education. The conference will explore how new technologies can be integrated into formal and informal educational settings to foster creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning. The aim of the conference is to advance the field of digital fabrication in education and inspire new approaches to teaching and learning that embrace the nature and complexity of project-based, student-centered learning.

SUBMISSION: 112
TITLE: Visual Embedded Assessment: Fostering the Development of Critical Dispositions in Maker Education
Dear Crystal Smith,
Thank you for your submission, "Visual Embedded Assessment: Fostering the Development of Critical Dispositions in Maker Education" (#112), to Constructionism / FabLearn 2023. This year we had a large number of submissions to this joint conference, which is great news for our academic communities. However, this also meant that inclusion into the conference program was competitive and decisions difficult.
Per the results of the reviews, we are pleased to inform you that your submission was accepted! Congratulations! At the conference, your paper will be presented as part of one of the educator panels. You can optionally bring a poster and be part of the poster session if you wish. We will soon send more details about your presentation, such as the duration and structure. Your paper will also be made available online at the conference website.
We look forward to seeing you at Constructionism / FabLearn 2023.
Thank you,
Bernhard Standl, Heather Pang, Aaron Vanderwerff, and Christa Flores
